The Golden Soccerball Team
So Mackenzie started her first soccer season this year as a kindergartener. The coach let the kids come up with names for the team and it was down to Green Lightning or the Golden Soccer Ball. I think the coach was a little surprised to have the Golden Soccer Ball win. He tried to make it cool by calling it GSB, but the kids weren't having it. Mackenzie has no clue what she is doing, but she runs up and down the field looking really cute anyway!

I think as a coach you narrow the field and then assume the role as coach and pick the team. But suppose coaches don't like mutiny either.
As far as soccer goes at that age, it IS just running around in packs chasing the ball. Practice all you want, that is just what you end up with. And everyone has fun.
