Happy Turkey Day

We had dinner at Craig & Karol's house for Thanksgiving. The girls had a fun time playing with Bailey. And the food was delicious (all but the yukky turkey!)

Kennedy had a 3rd grade Thanksgiving Program at school. She wore a costume that I made a few years ago. They sang some really cute songs-one was about Albuquerque the Turkey who wanted to be the pet and not the main course of the Thanksgiving meal. It was a cute program.

Kennedy didn't have a speaking part in the play, but she did get to help paint the sets.

Kid Bathroom

We got the kids bathroom decorated. It's very cute & girly.

Grandma Knivila's Visit

Grandma Knivila just flew back home today & the girls already miss her. We crammed alot of fun stuff into the 10 days she was here & still managed to get a bunch of boxes unpacked. She got Kennedy a Build-a-Bear for her birthday.
Mackenzie got her Build a Bear for an early Christmas present.

We went on a tour of the Conference Center at Temple Square. None of us had ever been in it before.
The view from the roof of the Conference Center.

Cool Stained Glass in the Skylights.

I had no idea this was so huge!

Grandpa Kienitz made these gates at the Temple. The girls thought it was really cool.

Salt Lake Temple.

They already have the Nativity set up on Temple Square.

Saying goodbye to Grandma at the airport.

Grandma wanted to have a birthday party for Katie & Kennedy while she was here. We got a yummy cake from the Lehi Bakery.
Grandma read a story to Kennedy's class. Kennedy wanted her to see her classroom.

She also read Pinkalicious to Mackenzie's class.

Katie's Emma Awards Program

Katie had her New Beginnings Program & it was like the Emmy Awards. Only they Called it the Emma Awards. The leaders picked the girls up early & fixed their hair & did their makeup for it. They all were very fancy.

House Update

We put Tinkerbell Wallies up in Mackenzie's room. They look so cute!

We put Bratz Fairies on the walls in Kennedy's room. Sooooo CUTE.

My Beauteous backyard. Isn't it lovely????

We have a healthy crop of tumbleweeds.

Move in Day!!!!

On Friday we had the carpet installed in the bedrooms & Saturday we moved everything from the storage units into the house. We were so lucky to have tons of help from the ward moving in, plus Mindy & Mike came to help & John came again. We now have the beds set up in every room, but that's about it. It's going to be a couple more days before we move in! Mackenzie & Grandpa relax on the couch after moving day. I thought Mackenzie was asleep, but I have trained her well & she put on her happy smile for the pictures!
We put John to work on finishing the last 2 rows of flooring that Drew didn't get finished on Friday & Saturday. The floors look awesome!

My unorganized scrapbook room, just waiting for me to bring in the paper & pictures!

This room looked massive until we filled it with all of our junk!

We are thinking of just wrapping up the girls toys that have been in storage so long & giving them to them for Christmas!!!!!

Katie's room.

Hyrum hanging out in the closet entertaining himself while we set up the beds in the bedrooms!

Kennedy's room

Hannah & Mackenzie found the box with the babydolls in it & they were so happy!!!!

This is my project for tomorrow, to try to get the kitchen into some kind of order!!!!!

Here is the outside of the house. I finally remembered to take picture!

Kennedy's carpet is straight ahead, ours is to the right & both of them look great with the wood in the hallways!
Mackenzie's carpet before he stapled it down.

Kennedy's carpet. She wanted hers to look like sand-she wanted her room beachy.
