Zion's National Park

We went hiking in Zion's National Park. Everyone knows how much of an outdoorsy girl I am (NOT) but this was pretty fun. We took the Emeral Pools Trail & went all the way to the top. We were in luck because it's spring there were waterfalls! The rest of the year it's all dried up and you only get maybe a trickle. It was a beautiful day for a hike!

The lower pools waterfall. SO beautiful!

This would be such a great picture IF MY STUPID EYES WERE OPEN. Oh well. Photogenic I am not.

Mackenzie was having a slightly bad attitude right here......

The middle Emerald Pool.

This is at the Upper Pools.

Spring Break in St George

We went to St George for Spring Break this year. The kids idea of a good time was sitting in front of the TV overdosing on Hannah Montana, Wizards of Waverly Place and i-Carly. We did manage to pry them away long enough to go hiking on top of the Dixie Rock and a swimming marathon day (6 hours! Poor Kenzie almost couldn't climb out of the pool!) We had a great time and came home sunburned.

Easter Egg Hunt

The Beehive Home had an Easter Egg hunt again this year. Mackenzie is the only one who hunted for eggs & she had a great time. Kennedy had play practice and Katie is too "cool" to do an egg hunt. Mackenzie was nice and shared with her sisters though. They even had an Easter Bunny there. Fun times!

Sick April Fools Joke

This is the view out my back door today on April 1st. I think this is the meanest joke ever. HELLO! It's not Christmas. Snow, snow, go away, don't come back another day. Instead, go freeze the polar ice caps or something but get the heck out of here!!!!!

Kennedy Debuts as a Wineglass

Kennedy is in the school play. She is a wineglass. She has been practicing so much that she hasn't even been nervous! She had her first performance last night and did AWESOME! She has 3 performances today and then it's over. Good job Kennedy!

Katie Skirt Makeover

So Katie got sick of waiting for me to add something to the bottom of this skirt to make it longer. We told her it was too short and she couldn't wear it anymore. So she grabbed a piece of lace and sewed it on before church one morning! She did a pretty good job and got lots of comments at church. Way to be proactive Katie. The fluffy hairbow thing I made for her with a scrap of material. She wore it to school and got tons of compliments. So now I feel the need to make 45 new kinds of hairbows......
Closeup of the hairbow.

Kennedy's Digereedoo

The school had this guy, Paul Taylor, come from Australia and teach them cool things. Kennedy's class made didgereedoos. They are long pipe kind of things that you blow in. She got to bring hers home. They had a big assembly to show what the kids had learned and they had boomerangs, digereedoos, sang some songs, and did some Australian dances. It was way cool.

Mom's and Muffins with Mackenzie

Mackenzie invited me for Mom's and Muffins at school. While we were there she also got to do Show and Teach and she showed everyone how she can hula hoop. They were impressed she could hula hoop on her knees, around her neck and while eating and drinking. She is impressive.

I turn 438

Yeah. So I had another birthday. For my present, I got the flu. It was great. Mackenzie and I spent the day in bed. We both got it. Since it was a Saturday I didn't even get a card since Drew was busy taking care of Mackenzie. But we are going to St George for Spring Break and I get to go shopping. So I guess it will be a good birthday after this weekend.

And this is how I feel about this birthday.

All I want for Easter is my 2 front teeth

Mackenzie lost her other front tooth. I guess corn on the cob is out for her for awhile. But she sure is cute when she smiles!
