Katie's New School

Katie wanted me to put all of these pictures of her freakishly huge school on the blog for her friends to see. There are 2000 kids in her school. Yikes. She is finding her way around pretty easily though, thanks to last year at Creekside!

Check out the massive tv in the lunchroom. I can honestly say I have never seen a bigger tv before!
There is an indoor track-she has 3 years of P.E. here!
This is the dance studio, she is taking dance this year.

Yes, it even has a greenhouse.

Mackenzie liked the little lockers in the middle here that were just her size.

Goodbye to Michigan

Here are the girls saying goodbye to their friends in Michigan. I know, we have been here for 3 weeks, but I finally have a working computer and some time to upload pics! Saying goodbye to the Shipley's.
Saying goodbye to our neighbor Yahaira. Poor Yahaira is left with mostly boys in the neighborhood now!

Katie saying goodbye to her best friend from church, Celeste.
Due to computer glitch, this picture is on here 3 times!!! Sorry!
The girls had Yahaira & Kyle over to watch a movie the night before we left. One last pajama nite movie.
Here are the girls in the airport when we flew to Utah. They thought the animals were pretty cool.

Katie and her friend Karissa.
Katie and her friend Cassidy.
Kennedy, bummed out with Eimi, Emily & JD Shipley.

Mackenzie saying goodbye to Elissa. Elissa was brokenhearted for Mackenzie to go & Mackenzie has been wanting to go to play with Elissa since we got here. She doesn't understand why we haven't been back to our "other world" to see our friends yet.

Mackenzie Paints!

We are prepping the house to hand over to the new owners so Mackenzie was helping her Dad paint one of the walls. She thought it was the most exciting thing ever! I think we will have her paint the whole new house! I also took a picture of the mess of boxes we have in the living room downstairs. This whole moving process is exhausting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Swim Lessons

Well, being me I naturally had to squeeze one more thing into the last couple of weeks that we are here. So I got the girls signed up for swim lessons. We got them signed up with their friends so it was even more fun than usual. Mackenzie kept talking about the swim lessons she was going to take this summer, so I had to get that girl signed up! Go girls! Kennedy with her friends Emily & Eimi
Mackenzie with Elissa. They weren't in the same class, but they didn't seem to care.

Kennedy & Eimi ended up in the same class. Kennedy and her friend Nimeesha. This was a fun surprise, because we did not sign them up together. She got to spend some time with Nimeesha for a couple of playdates. It's sad that they can't have their birthday parties together next year! (Their birthday's are on the same day)
Mackenzie the mermaid.
Mackenzie the daredevil is not afraid of a little old diving board!

Build a Bear Birthday

Mackenzie invited her friend Elissa to come to Build a Bear with us to stuff a bear for her birthday. They were so cute picking out their animals. Nikki & I had a great time following them around taking pictures! Choosing their animals.
Mackenzie's panda bear is named Princess Quincie (for that school that Kennedy went to that one year Mom!)

Elissa bought Mackenzie a stroller and tiara for her bear for her gift. Mackenzie got Elissa a binky for her kitty and a pink purse (because who doesn't need accessories?) as a thank you for coming to her party.
Here they are looking for shoppers to mow down with their strollers. I think they were giving each other points for the most number of toes ran over with their strollers. But look, aren't they cute????

Michigan Adventure

We met Brad, Hannah & Trish at Michigan Adventure and the girls got to do one last fun activity before we move to Utah. We all had tons of fun as you can see from the pictures.

This is how Hannah and Kennedy looked after getting off of Shivering Timbers-the massive roller coaster. You wouldn't catch me going on a roller coaster that big, but they said it was "AWESOME".
Katie in front of the Corkscrew. Brad finally got her to go on it. She wasn't sure she wanted to go upside down, but she loved it.
