Last of the zoo pics

This kids with an ice sculpture of an elephant. So cute!
Kennedy next to the komodo dragon cage. She is studying them at school.
Posing with the penguin sculptures. Katie's joy is apparent for all to see. We brought Kyle-the neighbor, again this year.

Annual Trip to the Zoo

Every year we go to the zoo in the winter. There are many reasons for this. One, it's free in the winter, two-not many people there, three-not stinky or stinkin hot, four-the animals are more active, and five-it's fun!
Mackenzie and her friend BFF Elissa
This tiger got up close and personal. He was trying to claw his way through the glass! The kids thought he was being friendly. I think he wanted to chew on some kids!
But, awwwww, isn't he so CUTE????

Soccer Update

Kennedy finished indoor soccer with a 2nd place ribbon. She had a great time playing with her team, the Green Gators!

Preschool Hat Day

TOO MUCH SNOWWWWWWWWW

It has been a very snowy winter in Michigan this year. The snow had actually melted some here, but I wanted everyone to see just how much snow we have had!!!

Our Traditional Valentine's Posing

Valentine's Day

Mackenzie got a Fancy Nancy Book & pink pancakes for Valentine's Day.
Kaitlyn actually wore PINK for Valentine's Day.
Kennedy got the book, Kiss me, I'm Perfect.
Mackenzie got the Webkinz Love Frog. She named it Marissa. Isn't it cute?

Valentine's Day Cookies

Kennedy did a tie-dye look.
"This is the bunny, this is the poop" We are so proud.

Ode to Sadie's Snowman

So Katie read the book "Sadie's Snowman" to Kennedy and Mackenzie. Then they decided to bring some snow inside and make snowmen in a bowl and decorate them. Such creativity eh? Also very smart since it was too cold to go out to build a snowman that day!

Sledding in Triplicate

Me and little Joshua.
Isn't he the cutest???
Princess Gracie in the Pink Puffalump outfit. She had a fun time wandering around the snow hill.
Drew and Joshua take a little time out to play Peek-a-boo!
Emily taking Gracie and Jaxen sledding.
So we are crazy, it's true. The girls and I thought it would be so much fun to take the triplets sledding for the first time ever! Katie opted to babysit Rachel, so Drew got to come along for the fun. It was a ton of work and very exhausting, but we had a great time so it was so worth it!

Sledding with our favorite Triplets!

Kennedy takes Joshua down the hill.
Drew takes the adventurous Jaxen for the first time.
A view of the work it takes to haul them back up the hill. You can't see it, but Drew is carrying Jaxen while pulling Joshua on the sled. Emily is carrying Gracie and I am snapping a picture before going to help carry one of them!!!
Drew with little Joshua. He actually did have fun, he just wouldn't smile for the camera.
Jaxen in his pink gloves, but still such a ham!!!
